About Oak Valley Homes Association

WHO WE ARE

Oak Valley is a community of 166 homes constructed from 1987 through 1998 on rolling hills in Lenexa, Kansas. Oak Valley is located near 87th Street & Candlelight Lane, between I-35 and I-435 and a convenient 12 miles and 20 minutes from downtown.

A stream meanders through the ample wooded areas, a neighborhood park, and the backyards of many of the homes. A walking/biking trail runs throughout the development and connects to a larger county wide network of trails.

Rising Star Elementary School is situated at the edge of Oak Valley and is within walking distance to all of the homes. Across 87th Street is Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park with the Indian Trails Aquatic Center, Lenexa Skate Park, Rose’s Pond, and walking trails. Oak Valley sits between, and less than a half mile away from two small shopping centers with grocery and hardware shopping.  Oak Valley has a homes association with a volunteer board of directors to maintain all of the common areas in the sub-division, plan and encourage participation in various social activities, advise on roofing, painting and home upkeep, and provide trash and recycle pickup service.
